Small body, big sound. This instrument was designed to be compact yet maintain the tone and volume required and it fits in a standard Mandolin case! The featured instrument is a Maple body and sides w/Walnut bindings and pick guard.
The woods are hand selected and specifications regarding the mandolins we are producing are as follows:
Top: Sitka Spruce
Back & Sides: American Black Walnut and Maple
Fingerboard: Ebony
Bindings: Maple and Rosewood
Neck: Mahogany
Soundhole overlay: various hardwoods, depending on model
Peghead overlay: various hardwoods, depending on model
Other Specs: 16" scale, adjustable Ebony bridge w/ bone saddle, bone nut, 1 1/4" at nut, 1 3/4" at bodyjoint (14th fret), Body 2 3/8" at heel, 2 3/4" at tailpiece, 10 1/4" at widest part. Brass position markers 3,5,7,10,12th frets. Grover tuners and chrome plated tailpiece.
